CURRICULUM: Trinity School’s academic program begins with preschool and ends with twelfth grade.  Since its founding in 1993, directors, Hélèn Miriam B. de Gilardoni and Marta Graciela Riojas de Espinoza, founded a bilingual program by integrating Spanish and English curriculum, further enriched by the study of the Guaraní language, which is part of the official Paraguayan Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) program.  Trinity School has been accredited by the MEC since 1.994.

One of Paraguay’s most distinguished writers and winner of the prestigious Cervantes Award is Augusto Roa Bastos. Trinity School was honored to have Mr. Augusto Roa Bastos present at the first graduating classes’ ceremony in 2005, where graduates received their diplomas from such a prominent figure.

Paraguayan teachers who speak English as a second language and native speaking teachers of other nationalities are responsible for preschool to twelfth grade academics.  Middle and high school teachers teach subjects in accordance with their area of expertise.  Extra-curricular activities are also taught by specialists who are well experienced in sports, academics, art, and music.

ACTIVITIES: Throughout the school year activities are offered in computer science, debate, art, sports, athletic tournaments, music, choir, drama, dance, and aerobics, field trips, science, math, and language fairs, contests, family celebrations and festivities.

FACILITIES: All classroom facilities are air conditioned and heated to accommodate all weather conditions in Paraguay. Trinity School has an extensive Library that contains 40.000 books in both Spanish and English. The school has computer and science laboratories, an art workshop, a full cafeteria for snacks and daily hot lunches.  The gymnasium is a regulation size basketball court with bleacher section, used for physical educational classes, intramural sports, fairs, and for talent and drama presentations.  The outdoor athletic areas include a 280 meter track, soccer fields, basketball and volleyball courts which are all surrounded by well-manicured gardens.

PERSONALIZED ATTENTION: Trinity School’s prides itself on the personalized attention offered to every student, in all developmental areas: cognitive, social, emotional, and physical. Students have many opportunities to develop self-esteem, to have positive self-identity, tolerance and respect for others, whose perspective and experience may be different from their own, allowing them to develop optimistic attitudes to live in harmony, in a highly pluralistic society.

FAMILY – SCHOOL CONNECTION: The Family – School Connection, is the expectation that everyone with the educational community, students, parents, teachers, and staff alike, actively participate in all school events, which is of the utmost importance to Trinity School. The exchange of ideas regarding the development of the learning process, any concerns and constructive comments with the community show the willingness and affirmative attitude that Trinity School wishes to always maintain.

CAMPUS PROJECT: Trinity School’s ambitious project to have access to wide open areas for pleasant outdoor living, has doubled the investment efforts in acquiring the appropriate land for Trinity School. Currently, the school sits on approximately two hectares of land where a beautiful, pleasant campus has been built. The attractive, wooded area and landscape make up a privileged learning environment for academics and sports, which focus on body and mind. This spacious campus, is a place where students can develop harmoniously, starting at an early age. The campus is an appropriate place to accomplish many scientific, technical, and artistic, projects that will generate a rich cultural exchange for all.

The twenty-first century demands have not been ignored. The demands of cybernetics and the globalization of knowledge is presently within reach of our school community.
